The Music of Led Zeppelin, Tues, 1/8/08, Dallas Symphony Orchestra

We had a great time at the symphony last night at a tribute to Led Zeppelin. It was a 5-member rock band and their own conductor playing Led Zeppelin songs with the Dallas Symphony. Awesome musicians -- the lead singer Randy Jackson had some acoustic guitar chops as well. He also is in a band called Zebra.

The Music of Led Zeppelin: A Rock Symphony

"Bridging the gap between rock n' roll and classical music, conductor Brent Havens takes the podium for a one-night-only program of Led Zeppelin's timeless hits, performed live by the DSO and vocalist Randy Jackson of ZEBRA, in note for note interpretations of 18 Zeppelin songs, including Stairway to Heaven, Heartbreaker, Black Dog and more. Colorful lighting and stunning visual effects will add to this once-in-a-lifetime event." DSO
